Barbara
Bullard, MA
As an
Innovative Researcher
Professor Bullard has been an innovative, award-winning professor of
speech communication at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa,
California for 30 years. Barbara is known for her innovative and
dynamic approach to teaching, communications, leadership,
relationships and healing. Her involvement with the Edgar Cayce
Readings and with the Monroe Institute, in the Blue Ridge Mountains
of Virginia, for more than 25 years, has lead to research, testing,
and teaching about the healing impact of music and sound on the
brain. These explorations along with research and testing with the
Hemi-Sync® technology were the impetus for a four-year effort to
create a super-learning Metamusic, the results of which are two
“designer Metamusics” entitled Remembrance and Einstein’s Dream.
..As an Award-Winning Teacher
Barbara Bullard has received many awards and distinctions, among
them: nominated in 1994 for Teacher of the Year at Orange Coast
College; also in 1994, she received the prestigious NISOD Teaching
Excellence Award from the University of Texas; selected for the
1986-87 edition of Who’s Who of Scholars in American Community
Colleges. She has also been listed in International Women in
Education and Outstanding Educators of America.
..As an Author
Barbara Bullard is a published author. She has co-authored the book,
Communicating from the Inside Out. She has written two articles,
“Language Learning and Super-learning” and “Walking the AIDS Circle”
in Using the Whole Brain, edited by Ronald Russell. Her article “The
Road to Remembrance” was featured in Focus Newsletter of the Monroe
Institute, 1994-1995, and she was interviewed for the 4-part series
in Focus 1993-1994, “H-Plus Odyssey—Part I - II - III - IV.” Barbara
is currently working on a new book dealing with Music and Healing,
which is projected to be released late this year.
...As a Speaker
Barbara Bullard is a nationally known speaker and workshop leader on
a variety of topics. Most recently, she was an expert witness on a
video being done in Georgia about Super-learning and Healing with
Hemi-Sync. She is a popular brain/mind/body lecturer, and is
featured regularly at annual conventions. As the owner of her
business, Quantum Technologies, she regularly promotes the uses and
benefits of Hemi-Sync products. Her seminars are inspiring and
informative; she did presentations at the California Delta Kappa
Gamma Society International 1994 and 1995 State Convention, and the
Palestine Regional Retreat for the A.R.E. Southwest Region, April
1994.
